Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp anise seeds whole or crushed
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for sweetness
  • 1 slice lemon optional, for freshness

Instructions
 

Step 1: Heat the Water

  • 1️⃣ In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Step 2: Add the Anise Seeds

  • 2️⃣ Add 2 tsp of anise seeds to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low.

Step 3: Simmer the Tea

Step 4: Strain & Serve

  • 4️⃣ Remove from heat and strain the tea into cups using a tea strainer or fine mesh sieve.
